Dental Implants Ryde

Dental Implants are titanium alloy screws that are permanently anchored into the jawbone. Titanium alloy has been selected due to the following proven characteristics; strength, lightweight, bio compatibility and history of success in the field of medical joint replacements (such as knee, hip etc).

A dental Implant allows a variety of options to provide you with a healthy smile.

Single Tooth Replacements: Fill in the gap between existing teeth with a custom made crown. No need for grinding healthy, adjacent teeth as in conventional bridgework.

Implant-Supported Bridge: This option allows you to replace multiple teeth with relatively light work for a healthy smile and chewing.

Implant-Supported Dentures: Implants can also be used for supporting and stabilizing various types of dentures.

If your private health fund has dental coverage for major dental treatment, then dental implants should qualify.

The full cost of the treatment will be quoted after initial consultation accompanied with a written treatment plan and X-rays, Please bring in X-rays taken in the last 6 months if you have them otherwise new X-rays will be taken which will have an additional cost.

The cost of any dental treatment is determined by Dr Chad. Determining factors include:

  • the kind of treatment you need
  • how long it takes
  • the number of dental implants to be inserted
  • the type of restoration chosen
  • the dental laboratory work required to complete the case

Additional costs may also arise if the bone has to be built up to support the implant.

SINGLE IMPLANT$4,000.00 TO $4,500.00
TWO IMPLANTS$8,000.00 TO $8,500.00
FULL IMPLANTS ON LOWER$20,000.00 TO $45,000.00
FULL IMPLANTS ON UPPER$20,000.00 TO $45,000.00

Usually, implant treatments require a number of appointments over a period of 2 to 3 months. In some cases, implant work can be undertaken and completed in a much shorter period. There are also cases where immediate implants can be placed. The dentist can explain all of this prior to your treatment.

Dental implants are a highly successful long term solution. Once the implants are in, a routine of careful dental hygiene and regular check-ups should ensure that the implants last as long as your natural teeth.

There is no age limit for patients to undergo implant treatment provided they continue to enjoy reasonably good health.

Although some pain and discomfort are experienced by patients, most of them are often surprised at how little discomfort they experience during and after implant treatment, this is due to the AF-PRP and the AF-PRF treatment that Dr Hazouri has mastered and offered with all Implant procedures.

Long term maintenance for dental implants is similar to continuing care for natural teeth in that the implants need to be brushed and flossed, and professionally cleaned on a schedule that matches the maintenance of your natural teeth.

If not, implants can develop ‘implants’ just as teeth can develop periodontitis (bone and gum recession) if they are not cleaned and maintained correctly. A condition known as chronic implants can cause soft tissue and bone loss, compromising the implant(s) long term. In some cases, this can lead to the loss of your implants.

Immediate Tooth Replacement

After
Before

Placing an Immediate Implant after a tooth extraction can be very rare, However Dr. Hazouri can do this in certain circumstances. This can be accomplished by placing a Titanium Implant into the socket from which the tooth has come out of or in the bone next to the tooth. Using AF-PRP and AF-PRF with some bone granules we will then build up the bone around the implant. If the missing tooth is visible in your smile i.e the front 8 to 10 teeth, we will place a temporary tooth that is anchored to the teeth on either side. This tooth is there just for aesthetic reasons and not for excessive biting and chewing on. After 6-8 weeks you will be assessed with the commencement of the second stage of impressions and production of your new tooth will begin. Our in-house lab will work with Dr. Hazouri to make sure your tooth fits seamlessly back into your smile.

All-on-4/6 Implants

All-on-4-6 dental implants are a treatment that is provided to patients who require full mouth reconstructions, where there is a generalized loss of natural teeth and patients who are unable to wear dentures. The titanium material of the implants also makes them superior in endurance and strength, allowing one to have a similar bite strength to natural teeth. This treatment also helps prevent bone and gum loss, therefore allows your face to maintain a youthful look. These implants when placed perfectly can support bridges or full arch dentures.

Full arch dentures can be supported on 4-5 dental implants. These dentures are fixed to the implants permanently which means the palatal support is removed, allowing the patients to enjoy their favourite food and drink without having the fear of their dentures falling out.

Full arch dentures can also be placed on 2 implants, these are called over dentures. This option makes the denture removal and still have the palatal arch to support the denture in the mouth. This option can be considered if there is a lack of bone, and also a more affordable option than the all-on-4/5.

Bridges can also be placed on implants to create a full smile or help with big gaps. 2 implants are placed on either side and a zirconia bridge is placed. This also helps keep the bone levels high and creates a seamless look in the mouth. A full facial reconstruction can be achieved by placing 6 implants and having 3 bridges spanning each arch. This package is our most elite treatment package.

GUIDED IMPLANT SURGERY

Guided implant surgery can also make the implant process quicker in terms of the time the patient spends in the office. The surgery is reputably accurate and safe. Dr. Hazouri only needs to make a small incision that tends to result in minimal bleeding and lessened discomfort. Additionally, the bone graft, which involves the transplanting of bone tissue, will be minimal.

Guided implant surgery produces teeth replacements that are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth. This allows the patient to eat, drink, and speak as they normally would. The implants will also prevent bone loss because jawbone deteriorates in spaces without teeth. If you have not lost all of your teeth, dental implants will help keep the adjacent teeth stable.
