There are four types of crowns:
- Porcelain outer surface with a metal base
- Pure porcelain or composite
- All metal, usually gold
Crowns are usually bonded to the tooth with adhesive dental cement. Each available type differs in indictations, durability, strength, appearance and cost.

Bridges
